This backyard retreat was designed with entertaining in mind, it is fully equipped with a BBQ, Fridge, and Ice Machine for complete outdoor dining. A saltwater pool with a hand made stone waterfeature provides a spa like atmosphere while enjoying the garden. The saltwater pool and spa set the mood for afternoons of endless relaxation with landscape lighting to accent the stunning plantings and extend the days enjoyment of this space well into the evenings.
A large cedar hedge was used around the perimeter of the garden to block to view of a soccer field directly behind this Rosedale home.
The entertaining space was finished with North American Sandstone and Indiana Limestone honed copings to contrast the gray bottom pool.
The modern furnishings and garden art were selected by the landscape architect to satisfy the entertaining lifestyle of the homeowners and compliment this design. The front garden was renovated to match the details used in the back garden, the mature English Oaks needed to be transplanted with our 90" tree spade as part of the new front garden plan. There were many challenges in constructing this garden as usual which included a very tight access of only six feet, a short schedule of only eight weeks with a large garden party booked on the day of the deadline!
